Information sessions will be held in the Student Center Conference Center.

Latinos in Action
is doing a car wash and bake sale on Saturday, September 23rd at Corner Canyon High School from 12 pm- 5 pm
! Come get your car washed, waxed, and/or vacuumed and eat a yummy treat while you wait! See ya there!

Chargers, we have several college admission representatives visiting our campus this year.  Make sure to check out the “College Visitation Calendar” outside the Student Center to see who is coming and when they are coming. Students interested in learning more about any of these colleges are encouraged to attend. All sessions will be held in the Student Center’s Conference Room. You can also find this information on CCHS website under “Student Center.”

Attention Seniors - If you are interested in applying for Sterling Scholar we are having an informational meeting on September 19 at 2:45
 in the atrium. Parents are welcome to come. If you have questions talk to Mrs. Bray. 

Senior Girls interested in business
, Sandy City Chamber of Commerce is taking applications for their Junior Women in Business Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship provides opportunities to network with local business professionals at a monthly luncheon and service activities. Take advantage of this prestigious opportunity. Online applications are due by September 29

After School Math Lab
meets Monday through Thursday of each week from 2:30 to 3:30 in room s216 (Ms. Gilgen's room.)  Come get the extra help you need to be successful in your math class.  
Bring your homework, and let us give you a hand.

Eat at Zupas on Sept 19
 between 5:00-9:00 PM
 and 25% of the cost of your order will be donated to NAMI Utah. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness NAMI works to bring attention and education to mental illness and suicide awareness and prevention. Come out and support this important cause. 

Congratulations to the September Athlete of the Month, Makenzie Easton! Makenzie is a senior centerback on the Girls Soccer team. She is being recognized for her stellar play during the month of August. Maknzie had 5 goals in 7 games and led a defensive effort where CCHS shut out their opponents 5 out of the 7 games. Makenzie balances her athletic achievements in the classroom and carries a cumulative 4.0 GPA. The girls soccer team currently sits at the top of region 7. Congratulations Makenzie and to the CCHS Girls Soccer team!

Come join the math club.
Starting this week, we meet every Friday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm in Room S-206. Our first official competition with the American Scholastic Mathematics Association will be Friday, October 13th, but come get some practice before then. 
Be there or be square!

Do you have mad dance skills? Do you like to show off to your friends? We want you to perform at this years homecoming pep rally! If interested, contact Lauren Kamerath. Practices will be the Monday and Tuesday night before homecoming! 

The Corner Canyon Speech and Debate Team is preparing for its season opener at Beehive Bonanza. Come to room N221 for debate practice after school on Mondays from 2:30-3:30

Attention Seniors - if you are interested in applying for Sterling Scholar, forms can be found in the office or on the CCHS school website. Sterling Scholar looks great on college applications and can potentially lead to scholarships. Please complete the form and hand it to the faculty member found on the back page of the application by October 5th. The winners will be announced at the Sterling Scholar assembly in November. 


Want to join a club? Come out to Club Rush. This annual event is taking place Sept 26th and Sept 27th
 in the commons during both lunches. Clubs wishing to participate in the event need to reserve a spot with Dr. Eschler by 25th.
